Fit comes before color
The seat height is about 24 inches. The bike fits riders ages about 5 to 13 and up to 170 lb. A rider who can get a foot down and hold the bike up at a stop has an easier first ride. Pick the color last
Every color is the same bike at the same price. Black and blue are the colors parents ask for most, and green, red and yellow are in the same collection. The color guide links each color to its own page. It is the same point we make in the girls guide. The bike does not change with the color, so fit and gear come first.
Easy for a first ride
The bike is a 50cc two stroke with pull start. It is automatic with no gears and no clutch, so a new rider only has to learn throttle and brakes. What shows up
The bike arrives about 90 percent built. You fit the front wheel and the handlebar with the included tools and a video. It is off road only with no title. For an older boy
A rider over 170 lb has outgrown the 50cc. The Sykeruns X5 is $975, fits about 4 ft to 5 ft 11 in and up to 265 lb, and tops out at 50 mph. The Sykeruns X7 is $1350, fits about 4 ft 8 in to 6 ft 3 in and up to 330 lb, and tops out at 56 mph.
