The 50cc is a two stroke with pull start and automatic with no gears and no clutch, so a younger rider and an older rider can both start it and ride it with no shifting to learn. Fit both kids before you order
Fit the smaller kid first and then fit the bigger kid. Seat height is about 24 inches. The seat height guide, the size guide and the age guide help you check both riders. Only one kid rides at a time. Set a turn length before the first ride and keep the same order each time. A parent stays close for a new rider. That simple plan stops most fights before they start and keeps the ride safe for the kid who is still learning.
Speed you can set for the younger kid

When each kid needs a bike of their own
Sharing stops working when one rider is over 170 lb, when one rider has outgrown the fit, or when both kids want to ride at the same time every ride. At that point a second 50cc at $300 keeps both kids on the same size bike. If the older rider is a teen who has outgrown the 50cc, look at electric next. The Sykeruns X5 is $975 and the Sykeruns X7 is $1350. The X5 is 3000W with a top speed of 50 mph and gear steps at about 15, 27 and 50 mph.
