Support

Something wrong? Start here.

Most problems have a written answer already, and it is faster than waiting on us. Try this order.

1. It will not start

Nine times out of ten it is one of three things: the fuel mix, the choke position, or the spark plug. Walk the checklist at manual.pluggedby50cc.com and it usually takes about ten minutes.

Quick version: fuel valve ON. Choke closed for a cold start, then back to the running position the second it fires. Fuel has to be a 25 to 1 gas and oil mix, about 5.12 oz of 2 stroke oil per gallon. Straight gas will not run it.

Starts, then dies after a few seconds? That is fuel or carburetor, not the engine. Check the choke position first.

2. Still stuck on assembly

Full step by step video, plus training wheel install, chain tension and brake setup, at manual.pluggedby50cc.com.

3. A part came through defective

Message us with:

  • A photo or short video of the problem. This is the important one. It is what tells us the difference between a setup mistake and a real defect, and it is what the factory asks for.
  • Your name and roughly when you bought it

We take the claim to the manufacturer on your behalf and get the correct replacement part sent to you free. First year.

Being straight with you: Plugged by 50CC is not the warranty company and we do not pay warranty out of our own pocket. What we do is handle the back and forth with the factory so you do not have to.

Not covered: crashes, wrong assembly, wrong fuel mix, skipped maintenance, modifications, misuse and normal wear. Once a bike is assembled and ridden we cannot take it back, so if something looks wrong out of the box, message us before you build it.

We are a small family owned mini moto and ebike club in Tempe, Arizona. You are messaging the people who actually sell these bikes, and we get back to you the same day.

Need a mechanic?

If you are in the Phoenix valley and would rather have someone else build it or look at it, text us. We know a few people and we will point you at one.
