Short answer
The 50cc gas mini comes in five colors and every color is the same bike at the same price. It is $300 for the bike, or $350 total with a helmet. Shipping is free to all 50 states and same day pickup is open in Tempe. Pick the color in the 50cc collection and the rest of the bike is the same on every one.
The five colors
- Black 50cc dirt bike at $300
- Blue 50cc dirt bike at $300
- Green 50cc dirt bike at $300
- Red 50cc dirt bike at $300
- Yellow 50cc dirt bike at $300
Black and blue are the colors parents ask for most. Green, red and yellow stand out more in photos and in an open riding area, which helps a parent keep eyes on a young rider.
Color does not change the bike
Every color is a 50cc two stroke with pull start and automatic riding with no gears and no clutch. Top speed is 32 mph and a parent can set the speed limiter slower for a first rider. The fit is for ages about 5 to 13 and up to 170 lb. Our cost guide and our buying guide cover the full price and spec list in one place.
Pick fit first, color second
A bike that fits well is the safe pick, so check size before color. The size guide goes by age and height, and the girls guide makes the same point for a daughter. Once the fit is right, let the rider pick the color. A color the rider picked is a color the rider wants to ride.
Gear and the $350 total
The helmet matters more than the color. The $350 total adds a helmet to the $300 bike, and our helmet total guide covers what that total does and does not cover. The safety gear guide covers goggles, gloves and boots for later rides.
What shows up
The bike shows up about 90 percent built. A parent fits the front wheel and the handlebar with the included tools and a video. The setup guide walks through the first build, and the fuel mix guide covers the 25 to 1 mix. The bike is off road only and has no title. It comes with 1 year parts support through the manufacturer. The first dirt bike experience guide covers the first ride day.
For an older rider
A rider over 170 lb has outgrown the 50cc in any color. The Sykerun X5 is $975 and the Sykerun X7 is $1350, and both are in the electric collection for teens and adults.
