Short answer. For most beginner adults, start with the Sykeruns X5 at $975. It fits riders about 4 ft to 5 ft 11 in and up to 265 lb, and its first gear runs at about 15 mph. For taller or heavier riders, or for hills and sand, look at the Sykeruns X7 at $1350. It fits riders about 4 ft 8 in to 6 ft 3 in and up to 330 lb. Both ship free to all 50 states, and same day pickup is open in Tempe.
Start slow first
A first bike should let you learn at a calm pace. The X5 has three gear steps at about 15, 27 and 50 mph. The X7 has three gear steps at about 25, 39 and 56 mph. That first step matters. Pick by fit, not by age
Adult riders come in many sizes, so check height and weight first. Our weight limit guide lines up all three bikes we sell by rider weight. The X5 is a 3000W bike that weighs 126 lb. The X7 is a 5500W bike that weighs 143 lb and pulls harder on hills and in deep sand.
Pick by ground

Charge and range
Plan on real range, not the factory number. The X5 plans on about 20 to 25 miles of real off road riding and charges in about 5 to 6 hours. The X7 plans on about 22 to 31 miles and charges in about 6 to 7 hours. Our battery charging guide covers the first charge and daily care.

What shows up
Each bike arrives about 90 percent built. You fit the front wheel and handlebar with included tools and a video. Each bike is off road only and has no title. You get 1 year parts support through the manufacturer. We are a family owned mini moto and ebike club in Tempe.
For a younger rider
For a kid under 170 lb who is new to riding, the 50cc gas mini in our 50cc collection is $300, or $350 total with a helmet. It is a 50cc two stroke bike with pull start and automatic riding with no gears and no clutch, and a top speed of 32 mph with a speed limiter a parent can set slower.
