Is this the right bike for your kid?

This one is built for riders roughly 5 to 13 years old and for anybody learning. Seat height is about 24 inches, so most kids can get a foot down. Max rider weight is 170 lbs.

It is automatic. No clutch, no gears. There is nothing for a beginner to learn except throttle and brakes.

About the speed

Top speed is 32 mph, with a light rider on flat ground.

Before that number scares you: there is a governor screw on the carburetor. Back it off and the bike will barely move faster than a jog. Open it up a turn at a time as your kid gets confident. You decide how fast it goes, not the bike. The how to is on our manual site.

What shows up, and what you do

It arrives in the manufacturer box about 90% put together. You finish it: front wheel, handlebars and a few bolts. Tools are in the box. Most families are riding inside an hour.

If a part comes through bad

Send us a photo or a video. If a part came through defective, we take the claim to the manufacturer on your behalf and get the correct replacement part sent to you free. First year.

Straight with you: Plugged by 50CC is not the warranty company and we do not pay warranty out of our own pocket. What we do is handle the back and forth with the factory so you never have to. In our experience that is worth more than a card in the box.

Before you buy

Off road use only. This bike is not street legal and it does not come with a street title. Backyards, dirt lots, desert and tracks. Helmet and gear every ride.
