Pick the bike by who the gift is for
For kids about 5 to 13, the 50cc gas mini is the gift most families pick. It is a 50cc two stroke with pull start and an automatic setup, so there are no gears to learn. The max rider weight is 170 lb. Top speed is 32 mph and a speed limiter lets you slow it down while a new rider learns.
Pick the size before you pick the color. Our size guide by age and height shows what fits a 6, 8, or 10 year old. Colors are black, blue, green, pink, red, and yellow. Black and blue are the colors kids ask for most.

The full gift budget
The bike alone is $300. Most gift buyers go with the $350 total that adds a helmet, because a rider needs a helmet on day one. That is the whole bike gift for $350, with free shipping and no shipping fee added at checkout.

When to order a gift bike
Order early for Christmas and for birthdays. Gift weeks are our busiest weeks and the color you want can sell out close to the day. Ordering early also leaves you time to put the bike together before the big morning, instead of building it while your kid watches.
If you are local to Tempe, same day pickup takes the timing stress out. You can pick the bike up here in Tempe and have it home the same day. If we are shipping it to you, free shipping covers all 50 states. We do not promise a delivery date, so leave a buffer before the birthday or before Christmas Day.
What to have ready on the day
The bike comes about 90 percent built. You fit the front wheel and the handlebar with the included tools and a video that walks you through it. Our setup guide for a first 50cc dirt bike shows each step in order.
Plan a spot to store the bike until the day. The box is much easier to hide than a built bike, and many parents build it the night before.
